Over the past weeks and months, clients of the web agency Onemedia have once again shown a growing interest in email marketing. It seems that despite Facebook, Twitter, Xing and co., customer contact by email has by no means become unfashionable.
On the evening of 21st March the entire development department of the Onemedia web agency attended the first meeting of the Symfony User Group in Munich. Symfony has been Onemedia's number one PHP web framework for the past five years and it is well on the way to becoming the major open-source framework in the PHP world.
At Onemedia, we often have to exchange very large files with our clients – files too large to be sent by email, including videos with several hundred megabytes. In most cases, third-party solutions such as Dropbox or Sendspace cannot be used due to data privacy protection issues.
Our customer Autodesk asked us to develop a web solution for regular YouTube video feeds on 20 special topics. For this project, we chose an automated approach.
For the last four months, the developer team at Onemedia has been working on a genuinely clever new tool for AMD. It was launched yesterday and is in use starting today.
